DAY
01: Arrive
Delhi
Arrive Delhi upon arrival, we shall met &
assisted with you at the airport by our executive
and transferred to hotel. O/N
DAY 02: Delhi
After breakfast, full day city tour of Old
& New Delhi. Visit Jama Masjid, the largest
mosque in India - Built by Shah Jahan, the construction
was started in 1844 and was not completed until
1658; witness the Red Fort; Visit Humayun's
Tomb: built in mid 16th century this is an early
example of Mughal architecture; Visit Qutab
Minar, witness the India Gate, President House.
The city tour ends with a visit to Laxmi Narayan
Temple (Birla Mandir). O/N at Hotel. |

Day 03:
Delhi-Agra (203 km 4 hrs. drive)
After breakfast, city tour of Agra. Visit Red
fort, which was built by Emperor Akbar in 1565, and
additions were made up until the time of his grandson,
Shah Jahan. It contains the hall of public and private
audiences amongst many other beautiful structures;
Itmad-ud-daulah, which was constructed by Nur Jahan
between 1622 and 1628 and is very similar to the tomb
she constructed for her husband, Jehangir, near Lahore
in Pakistan; the highlight of the day - The Taj Mahal,
which was constructed by Shah Jahan in memory of his
wife Mumtaz Mahal. Construction of the Taj began in
1631 and was completed until 1653.
Day 04: Agra
- Khajuraho (150 km 3hrs drive)
After arrival, Depart for full day visit of the world
famous temples of Khajuraho also visiting the archaeological
museum. Overnight stay.
Day 05: Khajuraho
– Jhansi (101 km 2hrs drive)
Early morning depart for Jhansi enroute visiting Jhansi,
a medieval town, once the flourishing capital of the
Bundela Rajputs. Its palace, temples and fort reveal
the glory of the medieval era. Continue on to Jhansi.
On arrival check into the hotel. Later visit the museum
and the ruins of the Fort. Overnight.
Day 06: Jhansi
– via – Datia - Gwalior (97 km 1-2 hrs
drive)
Morning depart for Gwalior enroute visiting Datia,
where you will see the seven story palace of Raja
Bir Singh Deo, built atop a hill, a unique example
of the 17th century Hindu architecture. Continue on
to Sonagiri with its 10th century Jain temples. On
arrival in Gwalior check into the hotel. Overnight.
Day 07: Gwalior
Morning depart for full day sightseeing of Gwalior,
visit the Fort Complex including Man Mandir, Suraj
Kund, Sas Bahu temples etc. Later visit the Rani Jhansi
memorials and the tombs of Tansen and Ghaus Mohammed.
Overnight.
Day 08: Gwalior
– Bhopal (423 km)
Morning departs for Bhopal. On arrival transfer to
the hotel. Afternoon depart for an excursion to Sanchi;
the site of Buddhist stupas, chaityas and monasteries.
The finest example of Buddhist creative art and sculpture
is found here. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 09: Bhopal
Depart for full day excursion to Bhojpur where you
can see the temples of Shiva and Jain. Continue on
to Bhimbetka, where you can see paintings in over
500 caves depicting the life of pre-historic dwellers.
Return to Bhopal for overnight.
Day 10: Bhopal
– via Ujjain - Indore (186 km 3-4 hrs drive)
Morning departs for Ujjain a renowned pilgrimage center.
Continue on to Indore. On arrival transfer to the
hotel for Overnight.
Day 11: Indore
- Mandu – Indore (83 km 1-2 hrs drive)
Full day excursion to Mandu; a pleasure resort of
medieval Rulers, which still retains its aura of romance
and mystery. Return to Indore for overnight.
Day 12: Indore
– Delhi (807 km)
Depart by air for Delhi. On arrival transfer to the
hotel. Overnight stay.
Day 13:
Delhi
Transfer to IGI airport to catch your international
flight.
