Wild life Sanctuaries:

For the nature lovers, who want to spend their time gazing green grasslands, thick forests and wild life then welcome to Wild Life Sanctuaries of Arunachal Pradesh, which is shelter to some of the rare and endangered wild species.

Pakhui Wildlife Sanctuary:

Pakhui or Pakke Wildlife falls in the southwestern side of Arunachal Pradesh in India. Wrapping an area of 862km and adorned with little rivulets, Pakhui Wildlife Sanctuary is a dense and dark tiger reserve. Best time to explore this sanctuary is from October to April.

Eagle Nest Wildlife Sanctuary:

Here you will find some different and rare species of wildlife due to its rich flora and fauna. The wildlife that can be seen in this sanctuary is hoolock gibbon, leopard, red panda, elephant and tiger to name few.

Kane Wildlife Sanctuary:

The animals that can be seen in Kane Wildlife Sanctuary are elephant, small cats, deer etc. Kane Wildlife Sanctuary of Arunachal Pradesh is extended to an area of about 55 sq. km. The sanctuary has a pleasing atmosphere with variety of vegetation.

Itanagar Wildlife Sanctuary:

Itanagar Wildlife Sanctuary is famous for varied species of flora and fauna. You can encounter elephant, barking deer, tiger, leopard, serow and birds in this sanctuary. For nature seekers it an ideal destination as here you can find ample varieties of orchids and other plantations.

Kamlang Wildlife Sanctuary:

Kamlang Wildlife Sanctuary covers an area of about 783 sq km. This Sanctuary is blessed with rich greenery and wildlife. In the Kamlang Wildlife Sanctuary you can see hoolock gibbon, tiger, leopard, capped langur, red panda and many other animals. Here you can also find some rare vegetation too.

Mehao Wildlife Sanctuary:

In this Wildlife Sanctuary of Arunachal Pradesh you can have pleasure of catching a sight of Yellow-bellied Weasel, Fishing Cat, Wild dog, Burmes Ferret Badger, Stumptail Macaque and many other mammals. The fauna is very rich here, which makes this place habitat for different species of birds too.
